Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions include, but are not limited to, productions and / or websites. All work undertaken by Bearleft.tv is subject to the following:

Payment
Upon acceptance of the quote a down payment, of which an amount will be agreed during concept stages, will be required upfront before work commences. Upon completion of the project the remaining balance will be required within seven days unless otherwise agreed. Failure to do so will incur a charge of 2% of the outstanding balance per week overdue. Should issues arise with your payment after your order has been delivered we will suspend the license on your production / website until full payment has been made to us. Use of your production / website in these circumstances will be in breach of our licensing arrangement.

Licensing
Upon full payment Bearleft.tv licences the completed production / website to the original purchaser for an infinate amount of time unless otherwise stated. Should a time be specified it may be possible to renew the production / webiste for an extra fee. Please contact for details.

All productions / websites are expressly for the use of the purchaser / purchasers company only and may not be passed onto or sold / to another individual / organisation unless otherwise agreed by us.

Copyright
Unless otherwise stated all music used in productions will be copyright exempt. Should a particular piece of music be required for commercial use, an additional payment may be required to the MCPA. Please enquire before production commences.

All rushes, masters, photographs and any other materials produced by Bearleft.tv will remain the property and copyright of Bearleft.tv.

All work undertaken and licensed to the purchaser remains,where applicable, the intellectual property and copyright of Bearleft.tv.

Artistic Licence
Bearleft.tv shall be granted artistic license by the client in relation to cinematography, materials, locations and editing for productions and design and graphics and functionality for websites. Should you have any specific requests please inform us prior to commencement. We will however seek to clarify any requirements of this nature in the pre-production stage. Bearleft.tv's judgement regarding the above factors shall be deemed correct unless specifically agreed prior to creation. Alterations / additions to your production / website after production has commenced, other than that of errors on the part of Bearleft.tv, will incur an additional fee to be negotiated by both parties.

Location Filming
When filming on location it is the client's responsibility to ensure that relevant permissions to film video and record sound are granted in all requested locations. Bearleft.tv will assume that said permission is granted and agreed upon at the time of booking. The general public must also be made aware if their image, likeness or voice may be captured on film by the displaying of notices in the surrounding area. If previously arranged Bearleft.tv can provide legal notices for this purpose. Though we will do our utmost to overcome any difficulties, Bearleft.tv cannot be held liable if, through no fault of our own, filming is adversely affected by unforeseen circumstances or events. This includes but is not limited to; obscured locations (e.g. trees, buildings, interior fixtures and fixings etc), uncontrollable background noise (e.g. fire alarms, sirens, drilling, traffic noise etc.), unusual environmental influences (e.g. freak weather, fire, and flood), power failures, etc. Due to the equipment we carry please ensure we will have easy access to parking at the filming venues. If additional costs are incurred due to parking facilities not being available, these will be claimed as additional expenses from the client.

Proofing & Mastering
Any alterations should be mentioned by the client to Bearleft.tv in writing no later than 28 days after receiving the proof copy. Extensive alterations that were not discussed previously may incur a separate charge. Once the production has been signed off by the client the master copy will be produced. At this stage only technical issues will be resolved as part of the agreed price and should be brought to the attention of Bearleft.tv immediately. Any creative alterations after the production of the master will occur a separate cost.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be given in writing. Cancelled productions / websites are subject to an administration fee.

Complaints
At Bearleft.tv we permanantly strive to produce high quality products and services. However, should you be unhappy for any reason please contact us in the first instance in writting and we will do our very best to rectify the situation.

Disclaimer
We reserve the right to refuse business ,for whatever reason, and without justification, if we feel that the integrity of Bearleft.tv, or any of its owners, employees, vehicles or equipment may be damaged or harmed in any way deemed unfit by ourselves and / or the laws of the United kingdom.
