Company Profile

The team at Bearleft are creative, enthusiastic and dedicated people who share a commitment to achieving excellence in all areas of New Media, Film and Television.

When asked what makes us unique amongst the huge number of production and web development companies out there, we like to think that quality, experience, customer care, speed of service and value for money all go to create the perfect bigger picture.

And our work speaks for itself! For us, all our projects are about precision, good looks, delivery and on the web side, ease-of-use with precise information will consistently raise your profile and your income. It's a case of taking exceptional pride in what we do. We're not happy until we've created an end product that can inspire your target audience, while leaving the competition trembling.

Simply knowing about HD, SDI, HDV, PHP, or MySQL, despite being essential, is not the be all and end all, it's also about having the expertise to understand what works, which direction to take a project in, when to advise our clients on the right course of action and for them to feel comfortable when giving feedback! Obviously positive is what we like best, but if you're not happy with an idea, we want to know, so we can find a way to put a smile on your face.

Also our expertise isn't limited to one sector or one online industry. The television channels and businesses that contract us are as diverse as they are varied. From a well produced broadcast series to an online store, if you've got a great idea or need help with any 'E' PR including improving your TV or online presence, the prospect of being involved in your project is guaranteed to excite and inspire us.

At Bearleft we treat every client like they're our only client. Our response time to your enquiries will be second to none. You can talk to us whenever you want and we'll always keep you in the loop on any progress.

No worries should you want to contact us at 10pm at night, chances are there will be someone on hand only too pleased to say "Hi". Deadlines are us! And that's not to say we compromise quality for speedy production. Exceeding our client's expectations is always our aim!

So I guess that's our sales-pitch. If you like what you've read and want to discuss anything further, we'd love to hear from you.

Aaron Jones

Director and Co-Founder

From programming games on his Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k at the age of 9 he grew into a very tall graphic designer. Logos, signs and corporate IDs flowed from somewhere deep inside. Moving to the gift world and a brief stay in the travel industry running all the design studios, he was picked to be on a psychic TV show and was more interested in what was going on behind the scenes than being in them. He then gave up a good position to be in the TV business and found a place at a production company. In a few short years he worked from production assistant to Head of Studios. Taking what he has learned he decided to start his own production company with his business partner Alan Terrell and bearleft.tv was born.

Likes: Rock music, the Internet and anything with a V8 in it.
Dislikes: Celery, being in a boat on the sea (unless it has a V8 in it), and clutter

Alan Terrell

Director and Co-Founder

After taking Media Studies at A-level, Alan was bitten by the media bug when he made his first short film. Due to having no willing actors he reluctantly played both parts himself and thus resulted in creating his first special effect. From that moment on he was hooked. After a year out of education, which was spent mainly editing and fumbling around the back of televisions with scart cables, he packed his video camera and set off to study Documentary, Film and Television at the International Film School of Wales. Three years later he left with his degree and a 'Best Film' award to boot.

Being the jammy git that he is, he was hired immediately as an editor in a production company. After editing over 200 programmes on every topic imaginable Alan, along with his business partner Aaron Jones, created Bearleft.tv and the rest, as they say, is history.

Likes: Movies, Magic & Sugar
Dislikes: Blister packaging, credit squeezing and the person who invented scart sockets.
